Not only does the "Men in Black" movie franchise boast great acting and stunning visual effects, each of the three films features a pretty kicking soundtrack as well. For "Men in Black 3," which hits theaters May 25, Pitbull contributes the lead single, "Back in Time."
MTV News caught up with Mr. Worldwide on the Los Angeles set of the "Back in Time" video and he gave us a pretty cool walk-through.
"What we're doing here, to sum it up in layman's terms, is making history," Pit said. "The concept is basically all about the movie. The slogan for the movie is 'Back in Time.' In the record I say, 'In order to understand the future we have to go back in time.' "
The clip not only features "MIB3" movie scenes, it was actually filmed on the movie set, blending the Miami rapper's performance shots seamlessly into Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones' action shots. "As far as the sets that you see right now, it's just integrating and running parallel with everything that you see in the movie," Pitbull explained.
It was the Fresh Prince himself who recorded the theme songs — 1997's "Men in Black" and 2002's "Black Suits Comin' " — for the first two installments of the "MIB" trilogy. For the upcoming flick, Pit took over and used a sample of Mickey and Sylvia's 1950s classic "Love Is Strange" for inspiration.
Now that he's clocked his first collaboration with Big Willie, Pitbull hopes that they can work together some more. "I would love to follow in Will Smith's footsteps," he said. "We're working on the music for the movie, and hopefully, one day, we'll work in a movie together."

Gary Ross 'brought so much to the movie that it's going to be hard for Francis [Lawrence] to come in,' actor tells MTV News.

No one supported Gary Ross more than "Hunger Games" star Josh Hutcherson, who called Ross "my guy" right before the director exited stage left.
Well, with Ross out and Francis Lawrence in to direct the franchise's second film, "Catching Fire," the actor is just hoping that the same magic can be captured without Ross there waving the wand.
"I have spoken to Gary. And I literally don't think I've talked to somebody on the phone and they've sounded more upset than he was," Hutcherson told MTV News at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. "He was so disappointed that he couldn't do it. Unfortunately, with the scheduling and the timing, he just didn't have the time to write the script and prep it the way he wants to, the way his work ethic allows him to be as great as he is, which made me extremely sad.
"Gary, I think, brought so much to the movie, and he created that whole world that was so close to the book and so perfect in so many ways that it's going to be hard for Francis to come in, for sure," he added. "But Francis is extremely talented and everyone I've talked to says he's the best guy in the world. So I think he's going to bring a lot. I haven't spoken to Francis. I've spoken to Gary."
Given how epic "The Hunger Games" is, Lawrence makes for an interesting choice. He's no stranger to making visuals that go big or go home, whether as a music video director who has created show-stopping clips for the likes of Beyoncé and Britney Spears or as a film director ("I Am Legend," "Water for Elephants"). With Ross already having created a certain vision for the big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins' books, Hutcherson is hoping there's a way to meld Lawrence's with it.
"I think he'll stay true to the first one. Gary's already established a tone and a theme and kind of a whole world. So I think Francis will operate within that. I hope so," he said. "At the same time, if I were directing, I'd want to bring my own thing to it. So I hope he brings something different to it, which I'm sure he will."

'You will always remember where you were ... when you heard the news,' Simon Cowell says, echoing the sentiments after Jackson's death.

<P>Few people will forget where they were when they heard that the King of Pop, <a href="/news/articles/1614744/michael-jackson-dies-at-50.jhtml">Michael Jackson, had died</a> in June 2009. And now, the same can be said for 1980s and '90s <a href="/news/articles/1679029/whitney-houston-dead.jhtml">Queen of Pop Whitney Houston</a>. </P><P> </P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Celebrities React To Whitney Houston's Passing" id="vid:733106.id:1679030" width="240" height="211"></div><p> </P><P> </P><P>The beloved, long-suffering singer died Saturday inside a Beverly Hills hotel room, hours before she was expected to attend a <a href="/news/articles/1679046/whitney-houston-dies-grammys-clive-davis.jhtml">pre-Grammy Awards party thrown by her longtime mentor Clive Davis</a>. </P><P> </P><P>And while the official cause of death is yet unknown — what's been speculated so far is that <a href="/news/articles/1679049/whitney-houston-dies-details.jhtml">Houston may have drowned</a> in the bathtub after taking prescription drugs, including Xanax — given her very public struggle with substance abuse, depression and anxiety over the past decade, it's hard not to conclude that some drug- or alcohol-related accident may have been to blame. </P><P> </P><P>It's much like, most recently, British singer Amy Winehouse and the late, great Michael Jackson before her, who died after taking a fatal cocktail of propofol and two other drugs. In an interview with CNN overnight, he paid tribute to the two fallen musical giants. "They shared a lot of success in the late '80s and they were great friends," he said. "I'm happy and honored to have been a part of their lives." </P><P> </P><P>And oh, what lives they led: Like Jackson — who died at just 50 years old, after years of struggling with personal demons — Houston, too, had an intensely profound and everlasting impact on the world of entertainment. </P><P> </P><P>Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson and countless other chart-topping entertainers have all name-checked her as their musical mentor, icon and inspiration: To date, she is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with more than 170 million albums, songs and videos sold. </P><P> </P><P>In her lifetime, Houston achieved what precious few of them have or ever will — stacking an astonishing 415 awards, including six Grammys, two Emmys, 22 American Music Awards, 30 <i>Billboard</i> Awards. </P><P> </P><P>Her voice, in its prime, was a national treasure. </P><P> </P><P>"X Factor" mastermind Simon Cowell may have summed it up the best: On "Piers Morgan Tonight," he said, "She was one of the greatest voices in our lifetime. 'I'd hope for them to live happily ever after, but it's 'Game of Thrones,' right?' Richard Madden says of Robb Stark's romantic interest, Talisa.

Another week, another gripping, wholly enjoyable episode of HBO's hit "Game of Thrones." Forgetting for a moment the frustrating continued existence of one Joffrey Baratheon and all the rather gruesome scenes in Sunday's episode entitled "Garden of Bones," let's take a moment to appreciate one easy-to-watch scene: the meet-cute between would-be King Robb Stark and feisty nurse Talisa (Oona Chaplin).
In the midst of all the blood, battles and complicated politics, might there be room for a real romance between two characters? MTV News was lucky enough to sit down with Robb Stark himself, Richard Madden, to get the scoop on this intriguing new story line.
"Robb's in a place where it's the first time he's met a woman, it's the first time he's had his head turned. It's the first time he's been in this position as this boy-king and the first time someone doesn't bow down to him, doesn't treat him like a king, doesn't cater to all that," Madden explained of his character's interest in Talisa. "She asks him real questions, she challenges everything and makes him ask questions of himself, he's kind of blown away by that, this kind of light in the darkness. He's surrounded by all these men and by all this violence and hate and blood, and he's got this woman there who kind of looks him in the eye and talks to him in a way he's not used to and he can't help but be intrigued by that. I think in the beginning he doesn't even know his head's been turned until we're right into it."
So now we know there will at least be major head-turning, but no telling how long that will last in the twisted and dangerous world of "Thrones." When asked for his thoughts on Robb and Talisa's future as a couple, the Scot wasn't at liberty to divulge gritty details, but did mention a hope for happily ever after, however unlikely that may be.
"I'd hope for them to live happily ever after, but it's 'Game of Thrones,' right? That doesn't really happen often with anyone," Madden said with a smile.
"We're going to see a lot of changes with Robb's character this year and this woman is the first big influence that takes him away from following his head. Usually his heart and his head are on the same page when it comes to decision-making and this woman takes him in a different direction and influences over the decisions that he makes and sets things on a different course with his mother as well. That's a huge kind of fracture between them," he continued. "So I'm keen to see how that plays out onscreen."

"Meet the Parents," "Ice Cream Date," "Yeezy In Your Ear," those are just some of the songs that Kanye West may be inspired to write after the weekend he and Kim Kardashian shared.
On Saturday afternoon, the new (or maybe not so new) couple was spotted strolling through New York City. Kanye was all smiles as the paparazzi caught them enjoying the spring weather, Kim with an ice cream cone in hand. Later that evening, the pair was spotted in Manhattan's Spice Market, and Kim took Yeezy to dine with the rest of the Kardashian clan. Kim was then photographed yet again wearing 'Ye's initials on her lobes with subtle "K W" earrings.
Kim's sister Khloé appeared on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" on Sunday and dished on the lovebirds. "I don't think it's serious. I think it's too soon," Khloé said of her sister and Kanye's relationship.
Kanye and Kim have been friends for a number of years, something that Khloé admires. "Because they're friends for so long, it's so easy," she said of the new power couple. "That's something that I love seeing about Kim, the easiness and how happy she is. It's just more of a great friendship and friendships make the best relationships."
With the next season of "Keeping up With the Kardashians" set to premiere on May 20, everyone is wondering if the multiplatinum rapper/producer will be making an appearance. Not if he doesn't want to, says the reality show star. "No one has to be on camera, it's not like we're driven to slavery," Khloé said. "Everyone has the option, except for us."
Things started to heat up, publicly at least, after Yeezy dropped his single "Way Too Cold" at the top of the month. In the song's lyrics he professes his love for Kim, and the two have been seen gallivanting around NYC ever since.

'You did a fantastic job,' singer tells Polish producer Jimek.

<P>As if the honor of being on <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/news.jhtml">Beyoncé</a>'s <I>4: The Remix</I> EP wasn't enough, Polish producer Radzimir Debski (a.k.a. Jimek), got a surprise Skype call from Bey herself this week to announce he'd <a href="http://www.beyonceonline.com/us/news/end-time-remix-winner-revealed-beyoncé-skype" target="_blank">won the competition</a> to remix her song, "End of Time." </P><P> </P><P>The Los Angeles-based, Warsaw, Poland-bred producer's version was selected from nearly 3,000 entries in the four-week competition. According to a press release announcing the selection, Jimek's song was selected after initial voting by fans, DJs and remixers on the SoundCloud community, with an international panel of judges, including Beyoncé, Afrojack, Isabella Summers of Florence and the Machine, Polish DJ duo Wawa, New York DJ Jus Ske and Oscar-winning producer Giorgio Moroder selecting the winner. </P><P> </P><P>The producer looked stunned when Beyoncé stepped in front of her laptop, exclaiming, "This is not happening!" The "Party" singer assured him that it was. "This is definitely happening ... Thank you for staying awake, I wanted to congratulate you because you're the winner of the 'End of Time' remix competition," she said to Jimek's disbelief, as he took a seat on the floor to settle himself. "Yes you are.
